黑龍江三江美術職業(yè)學院是經(jīng)黑龍江省政府批準、教育部備案、隸屬于黑龍江省教育廳領導的一所集美術教育、基礎教育、幼兒教育、中老年教育與管理、環(huán)境藝術工程、數(shù)字傳媒、影視動畫、ＩＴ信息、國際專本碩合作辦學為一體的國家普通高等學校，是黑龍江省唯一納入國家招生計劃的高等美術學院，在全國美術類高職學院中排名前三位。

總院地址在黑龍江省佳木斯市大來社區(qū)，在北京和哈爾濱分別建有教學實習基地。自1980年創(chuàng)辦以來，擁有專家、教授、副教授292人，雙師型教師達到87%；全力打造藝術設計、美育教育、IT信息等三個重點專業(yè)集群，建設美育、裝飾、傳媒、動畫、lT信息等5個特色專業(yè)群，設置22個專業(yè)，現(xiàn)有在校大學生5360人。學院創(chuàng)辦有六大實體平臺，一是“龍美藝術設計集團公司”，定位服務龍江中小微企業(yè)，為企業(yè)打造一企一品，為美麗鄉(xiāng)村建設增光添彩；二是“龍美教育”，定位培養(yǎng)中小學與幼兒美育教師和中老年教育與管理教師；三是“龍美畫院”，定位讓藝術作品進入平民百姓之家；四是“龍美書院”，定位服務國內(nèi)與“一帶一路”中老年藝術養(yǎng)生愛好者，為中老年人提供吃住學養(yǎng)一體化的學歷教育與科學服務，助力中國文化與藝術走向世界開花結(jié)果；五是“龍美稚苑”，定位培養(yǎng)國內(nèi)與“一帶一路”2-6歲幼兒，實施“寓教于智、寓教于美、寓教于動、寓教于樂”的個性化教育，讓中國美育與語言走向世界生根開花；六是“龍美信息”，定位培養(yǎng)ＩＴ藝術設計師和互聯(lián)網(wǎng)媒體直播網(wǎng)紅。
